Special Greetings to All

 

How did I meet the most beautiful woman in the world? About two years ago, Mo and I met through social media. Whenever I posted something, she always liked it—if she wasn’t the first to like it, she was the second or third. One day, I decided to look at her profile, saw she was single, and thought, “Maybe we need to talk.” Then the conversation started via text messages. Orlando has always been one of my favorite destinations, and while I was there for a business trip, I invited her to meet, but it didn’t happen. I was unhappy, deceived that day. I kept receiving compliments from her via DMs, and I said to myself,

“This beautiful woman seems interested.” (Gen lé Bel chabine sa intéresé wi)

We kept exchanging good morning and good night messages, and the conversation continued for about three months.

 

Honestly, folks, it was not easy at all at the beginning. Mo and I were really hesitant and cautious because we were afraid of getting into another relationship. Nonetheless, we decided to take one last chance. We exchanged phone numbers and decided to meet at one of the most prestigious restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. It was there that we professed our love with great passion. (Mwen di nan kém se sa mwen tap chaché a min m “ This is what we were looking for.” I told her, let’s pray to ask God for approval, and we believe He did.

 

After about a year of secretly dating, we decided to go public and started meeting each other’s family members. In July 2023, Mo decided to be re-baptized at Sinai, the church I attend. On March 9, 2024, I proposed to her, and we planned our wedding for August 4, 2024. As we start our life together, the greatest gift we can ask from our friends, family members, and anyone is to keep us in their prayers.

 

Mo and I believe that we’re ready to start our life together.
